[DISCUSS] What's the next best thing to Moz Con 2012 GB?

This kind of question is better asked out in the open so you easily gets lots of good feedback. So, I have moved it to a public discussion thread. And I'm just a volunteer is all. Upper FUrB staff really run things around here. We all just try to pitch in and help is all.

But please be warned! Asking people for access to their GB's, and even worse, trying to sell ANYTHING on FUrB through these PM's can get you banned. Nothing bad, but you need to know for your benefit is all. We know folks are used to different rules on other boards, so we just want to get you familiar with the rules here. They may seem strict to some that are used to bittorrent sites or something like that. But they are there to protect everyone and most importantly, to be fair to the author. So your assistance with following the rules and helping to uphold them are a real privilege for FUrB's members because this board provides alot of benefits to it's members that is much more than GB access. There are alot of professionals on Feed Your Brain that you can really get to know and discuss things with through the threads on this forum.

Anyways, I have some bad news for you and some good news.

Bad news
Short of doing another GB, which you are free to ask for another one to be opened below, the GB's are closed and don't reopen. There's one I want and dont' have access to, so, that's your answer on that.
More bad news
I did the Moz Con 2012 GB that you are wanting for a friend of mine that is a professional web developer and he wasn't very impressed with it at all. :( But I'm sure that is subjective. If he can't benefit from it, he's not into watching a bunch of hoop la.

Good news
You may find some of the GB's going on right now to be actually something more of what you are looking for. Here's a few things I would recommend Web wise:

Alot of these are closing fast - some in the next several days or so, so I recommend you check out the ones that interests you as quickly as possible.

I'm sure some others may give you some suggestions. But these are the favorites on my list for right now.
