Andy Jenkins & Mike Filsaime - Video Genesis Review

Information
A Little History
In the beginning of 2013, several revisions and two rounds of "Changing FUB to the better threads were discussed at great lengths on Feed Your Brain (FUrB). Lot's of wise, articulated, constructive criticism was injected by both new and members that have been around this community for years. In the end, FUrB adopted a great position as being a review site and is a great thing for it's Group Buy (GB) participants (GBr's)! This is because that, what is being done in these this process, are individual group & peer reviews of an author's work. This is a place where an author has the opportunity to get unbiased reviews out in the open by an independent 3rd party. And in exchange for that, FUrB flat guarantees the Author payment for their work. And often times multiple GB's can and will be done, meaning different purchases for their work as well

What the Review is actually for
We think it's e-commerce at it's finest and not only holds authors to a higher standard and provides them direct feedback, but makes the GB'r a learning participant as they are reviewing the work and gives everyone an opportunity for group feedback. This is an excellent place for people that would never participate in a GB to come in and look at some independent reviews and then go buy directly from the Author themselves. This is really a win win situation for both the Author and the Reviewer. The Reviewer's incentive for putting in the time and effort is by participating in a labor intensive review process and makes YOU actually GET something out of the Author's work that will hopefully be implemented. The author's reward, besides an honest purchase that is literally closed out after the agreed amount of buyers have bought in, is that they can and should be looking over these reveiws for direct feedback. That is direct, unbiased feedback that simply cannot be bought, and requires this type of input. Unlike the other GB sites, FUrB actually encourages it's Author's to please feel free to mingle on the forum, in both the discussion areas, but especially in the review section.

Whatever you do, please try to keep it positive and encourage each other to 'not' be like the rest of the world that buys a program and never uses it. But to participate in a GB, review it and take action by implementing it.

NOTE
Please note that there have been some adjustments in what is said in this post and what are actually in the section listed below:
Front Page Notes from "GBs New Rules - Changing FUB to the better - 2nd Round"
Code:

Adjustments are continually being made for a smoother flow of process for everyone. We are just as human as you are and are trying to make the necessary tweaks and changes that will best facilitate the most positive impact for the FUrB community. In time, those rules will be updated to reflect what is being developed in the rest of the community, like this post here.

Your patience and constructive assistance along the way is greatly appreciated! :P

Tip
Recommended things to be included:
  1. The Module/session/week number that you are reviewing
    1. (depending on how the program is divided)
    2. Should be at the beginning of your review.
  2. Why you took/participated in this course?
    1. And, what's your goals behind taking the course?
    2. (in the first post only, no need to repeat it)
  3. What do you expect from this particular session?
  4. General rating for that specific module/week
  5. Content of the review:
    1. Things that you've learned from it
    2. An experience you have similar to what is been included, or a story that can support or refute what has been mentioned in the module.
    3. Ideas, thoughts, headlines for the major topics covered in this section or rehashing the content by your own way, or writing down what you've learnt.
    4. Did it worked for you ?

A General Idea about the rule:
GB participants will be reviewing the GBs they will enroll in on preferably a weekly basis.

Conditions

  1. Every participant is encouraged to try to make 1 review per week
    1. We are only human too and realize things happen, like life...
    2. But we are simply giving a recommended time frame for updates to this section to keep our community motivated and on track
    3. If you can't meet the suggested timeframe, just keep on it so you don't loose focus
  2. Members can participate in as many GBs as they like, but they need to review at least one of the GBs every week. ( It would be better if each participant can stick with one course till he finish it at the end to give a full review of all its modules. Even when members can participate in many GBs, we advise that it will be more efficient if they focus on few and subscribe to few as well so they won't get distracted by good reviews about this and that which might push them to jump from a course to another ).
  3. Poor Quality reviews ( no rules of how to make a good quality review, just make sure it won't get reported ), Spam, or copying others' reviews is like requesting a free of charge ticket to leave FUB permanently. Be Legit. People will report any nonsense reviews/posts , and we won’t tolerate that.

What reviews can include:
  • What you've learnt from a specific module/course as a whole
  • Similar or better courses that you recommend which teach the same things/talk about the same field.
  • Thoughts and stories about concepts mentioned in the course that either confirm them or refute them.
  • Answering other people questions. ( helping a member might be way better than making a review that might not help any. So, this definitely will be more than enough for a week )
