Hello all, I was given permission by the staff to open this topic up and now everybody's input and feedback (both positive and negative) here is kindly requested - Thank you in advance for your time. An introductory Poll will be included in this thread [Please Vote and if you have additional commentary, please do share within this post] - If it's not included in the initial poll or forthcoming post, please add any other concerning points, suggestions, and concerns as replies herein this thread.

This topic will be an ongoing Work-in-Progess Thread - it is meant as an open invitation and discussion to consider how we should proceed with future (and ongoing) medical group buys, regular medical content sharing/discussion, FUB's continued success and credibility, and most importantly, our [as registered FUB members] privacy and anonymity. My opinion is just that - one person. It would be great if we could get other FUB member's opinions on how to proceed further with new ideas. All of this in turn, can be reviewed by the appointed FUB moderators, staff and admin to consider and put things into positive future actions and rules/guidelines - these are just thoughts and in no way whatsoever, negative criticisms. I value and choose to be part of communities that can continue to grow forward. Moreover, people herein the medical GB community seem to generally follow with the rules on avoiding re-sale, and sharing on external sites and mediums. Still, not 100% (this happens everywhere regardless of content matter, but picked up by other loyal-watchful eyes and ears).

Some suggestions (not exhaustive) to initially consider : (we can add more ideas as the discussion amongst FUB members participate with their own viewpoints)

1. [Poll Discussion] Making all the current (including subforums that are publicly visible without registration) + general GB discussion areas private - mandatory required registrations to post/discuss topics. Obviously the privately purchased ongoing GB's are selectively private to each paid FUB GB member, but one level up is actually a good idea. This would also include both the medical requests section, iDownloadlink premium medical donor areas and the non-iDownloadlink premium sections (where public but registered FUB member submissions, can post one-click hosting shares and links) would benefit from this. There are a lot of unregistered/public lurkers, and while the goal is to have FUB grow, quality-control is always good to have. Most of the active forums on other topic niches run like this - we want to demonstrate higher standards and regards to all our members in this community.

2. [additional poll vote added but discuss in thread] Consideration of certain content to be never allowed to be purchased (as medical GB's) - anything that can cause one to be investigated or even worse, lose their medical license and so on. All of this falls under anything offered from the following examples : this means N/B/ME-USMLE examinations/self-assessments. Basically anything that is affiliated directly with examination/licensing creators - they monitor everything and we [as FUB as a whole] need to completely avoid that kind of attention. 3rd-party and unaffiliated companies/organizations (e.g. review courses/question-companies/book publishers/etc) are still permissible and fair game for GB-purchases and discussion. Also, discussions about which N//B//ME forums to prepare and use from can be freely discussed.

3. [additional poll vote added but discuss in thread] We might have this already, but adding a dedicated registered FUB user subforum for : Applying for post-graduate training/medical residency/fellowships/medical student rotations [we can make these areas region specific for easier accessibility and regards to each of our aspiring and ongoing career paths, plans, and decisions (i.e. States, Canada, UK, Middle East, Europe, India, Pakistan, Australia, Africa, South America, China, etc) - One of my personal annoyances is seeing people utilize the general hearsay (even through many of the medical forums around the internet) and miss out on the multiple pathways to approach their goals and intentions. I believe we all know (and have) relevant areas of expertise - moreover, there are questions that many people do have, and as a smaller community such as FUB, we can at least minimize some of the irrelevant spam and fake posters/advertising and false manipulations and unnecessary fear set forth in comparison to other message boards.

4. [unpolled] How else would you feel our private FUB medical community can grow in sharing content + information amongst our members?

5. [unpolled] Other suggestions in facilitating and improving medical GB announcements and organization?

6. [unpolled] All other suggestions, concerns, and criticisms (both positive and negative) are warmly welcomed to hear. Consider this as a primer to benefit everyone.

Lastly, please note that FUB registration is free and there are no paid requirements and obligations. Should you wish to participate in iDownload Premium Donor areas, make posts/topics, medical content requests, replies, or be part of the wide array of ongoing medical group buys, then you'll need to register by default and proceed accordingly to that respective discussion topic.

p.s. I did not add a poll to allow and include N-B/-M-E content (specifically meaning for purchase/question-content sharing), but feel free to share your opinions on that point it either way. Thanks again.
