Our seminar in the United Kingdom was held in London, overlooking the Thames river. There were participants there from several European countries. What was demonstrated, once again, was that commerce and commercial law are not unique to one particular state or country, but instead, are the law of the planet. All "civilized" countries operate in bankruptcy, use fiat currencies, and universally offer the remedy of discharge of public debt. Once we understand how commerce really works, those same universal principles can be applied in various jurisdictions throughout the world with the same effect that we have discovered in our research in the United States. By understanding the foundational principles upon which all commerce is built, it is then only a matter of applying those principles to the appropriate forms and procedures of a particular jurisdiction. This event also features a very thorough historical analysis of the origins and development of the foundational principles of commerce.
